The Hershey Junior (Jr) Bear “Bites”
Hockey Program is a “newly”
created non-travel hockey program designed for players FOUR
to FIVE years of age. (*) |

The purpose of this newly created “HOUSE” program is to
introduce younger players to ice hockey by teaching the
FUNdamentals
needed to advance into the Hershey Jr Bears HOUSE, |
|

|
|

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY: |

The philosophy of the Hershey Jr Bear “Bites” Program -- is
SIMPLE! |
|
| |
“Players will have FUN -- while
learning the FUNdamentals
of ice hockey in a relaxed – educational and motivating
manner.” The Bear Bites Program
will encourage and promote a FUN
environment with Coaches who DO
NOT FOCUS ON WINNING.
By focusing on the FUNdamentals
of ice-hockey -- participants will be introduced to ice
hockey in a group setting with excellent “player to coach
ratio.” |

This is an 18 week program that will start at the end of
October and end at the beginning of March.

The Bear Bite session will be held on Tuesday evenings at
Hershey Park Arena from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. |

mandatory Skate-a-thon fundraiser. |
